1470 ha versatile farm with a wedding venue and water rights for sale!

This beautiful sustainable and versatile farm of 1 470 hectare is centrally located between Frankfort, Reitz, Warden, and Tweeling, far from any main roads. This piece of land consists of four title deeds (all of which are adjacent) being sold as a single unit. A portion of the farm offers a beautiful view of the Wilgerivier, with a 3,7 km riverfront. Building additional guest units on this part of the farm overlooking the river would be ideal. This is primarily a grazing and livestock farm where most of the camps have been converted to planted pastures with water supply to each camp. All the various camps complement each other well and the fences are in good condition.

ARABLE LAND

GRAZING
The pasture is divided into several camps, all of which have access to water.
Smutsvinger – 95 ha
Cash crops – 26 ha
Previously Oulande cultivated, currently field and Oulandsgrass, with Smutsfinger growing sporadically between them – 32 ha
There is an area on one portion of the land named, "Die Spens", as it always offers abundant grazing for the cattle with sufficient water supply.
LIVESTOCK
Farming is currently carried out with 364 cows and 48 heifers, which are either pregnant or being bred. Approximately 60 replacement heifers will be bred next summer. The cattle consist mainly of Bonsmara and Beefmaster crossbreeds. The seller owns about 450 Dormer ewes, with roughly 50 young ewes that will be ready for breeding by March 2025. Approximately 80 of these ewes are either stud ewes or classified as "B" ewes. There are also 64 Meatmaster ewes on the farm. The livestock are not included in the sale but can be included in the purchase at market-related prices to buy the farm as a going concern.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Portion 1:
- A large zinc storage shed, a storage shed build with rocks/stones, engine room (32 kw generator), milk stable and two workers houses with water, toilets and electricity on one farm and another four worker houses on the other farm.
